AHA ACLS Skills Session (HeartCode® ACLS Required)

Course Overview

This session is the hands-on skills evaluation portion of the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS course. It is designed for healthcare professionals who have completed the HeartCode® ACLS Online course and are ready to demonstrate competency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills.

Participants will complete a psychomotor skills assessment using voice-assisted manikins with real-time feedback or with an AHA Instructor.

⚠️ REQUIRED BEFORE ATTENDING (MANDATORY)

All participants must complete BOTH of the following prior to the skills session:

1. ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment

• Must be completed prior to class
• Minimum passing score: 70%
• Printed completion certificate is required and must be presented at check-in

• Bring printed certificates for:
  • ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment
  • HeartCode® ACLS Online completion
• Participants who do not provide required documentation will not be permitted to complete the skills session

🏥 Certification

To receive a valid AHA ACLS Provider eCard (valid for 2 years), participants must:

✔ Successfully complete the HeartCode® ACLS Online course
✔ Pass the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment (≥70%)
✔ Successfully complete the in-person skills evaluation
