AHA ACLS Skills Session (HeartCode® ACLS Required)

Course Overview

This session is the hands-on skills evaluation portion of the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS course. It is designed for healthcare professionals who have completed the HeartCode® ACLS Online course and are ready to demonstrate competency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills.

Participants will complete a psychomotor skills assessment using voice-assisted manikins with real-time feedback or with an AHA Instructor.

⚠️ REQUIRED BEFORE ATTENDING (MANDATORY)

All participants must complete BOTH of the following prior to the skills session:

1. ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment

  • Must be completed prior to class
  • Minimum passing score: 70%
  • Printed completion certificate is required and must be presented at check-in

Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode ACLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA ACLS Instructor or a HeartCode-compatible manikin.

AHA HEARTCODE BLS ONLINE COURSE SOLD SEPARTELY. 

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning method for the BLS Course. It offers quality resuscitation education no matter where providers are located and allows them to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first finish the online part of HeartCode BLS and then participate in a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or at a simulation station.
